Home - News - COMPANY NEWS - One moon, One camera - a totally different perspective
Wednesday 10th September 2014
Here are two totally different views of last nights full moon using one camera, the Olympus EM1 and the help of some Kowa optics - right at the opposite end of the focal range.
First is using the Kowa MFT 8.5mm f2.8 lens
A super wide angle view of the full moon with the Kowa MFT 8.5mm f2.8 (17mm on a micro 4/3 body)
Then I reached for my Kowa digiscoping gear - connecting the Olympus EM1 to a Kowa TSN-884 spotting scope via the Kowa TSN-PA7 DSLR adapter for a real close up view.
With the eyepiece set to 25x zoom - the Kowa TSN PA7 connecting the olympus body to the Kowa scope gave me a focal length of 2000mm!
